Light Licensed Millimeter Wave
Using 70 and 80Ghz spectrums AIT Partnership Group are capable of providing high availability, low cost and secure Gigabit links at good distances. As one of the most experienced installers in the country for this type of technology, we maintain partnerships with market leaders Gigabeam and LightPointe. These links, using millimeter wave technology are highly reliable and secure and capable of distances up to 6km at high availabilities.
Licensed Microwave
As an experienced installer of various manufacturers we can provide point to point wireless links with various interfaces and data capabilities such as E1 or Fast Ethernet in all of the available licensed frequencies. Working with OFCOM we can handle all licensing requirements and provide robust, frequency protected links at long distances and high speeds (633MBps) in conditions where true radio line of sight is available.
Free Space Optics (FSO)
Typically of higher speed, but lower availability than RF technology, these point to point wireless links are superb for quick deployment and resilient connections in a campus environment such as a hospital trust. We would not recommend installations of greater distances than 1,200m for this technology, but speeds up to 10GBps are available with our products from our preferred vendors, LightPointe and MRV.
Light Licensced Microwave (RF)
Using the Unlicensed National Information Infrastructure UNII-2 and UNII-3 bands (Bands B and C) AIT Partnership Group can design and provide point to point links and point to multi-point networks. Distances up to 20km are possible with full RF line of sight, while certain near Line of Sight (nLOS) and Non Line of Sight (NLOS) links will be possible at lower speeds.
